Marion Frances Taylor

Memorial service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 9 at White Chapel Funeral Home with a visitation thirty minutes prior; burial at White Chapel Cemetery following service.

Marion was married to her high school sweetheart, Billy Taylor, for almost 71 years prior to his death in 2019. Marion graduated valedictorian of her 1946 North Kansas City High School class. She was a member of Avondale United Methodist Church for over 70 years, having taught Sunday School for about 20 years, was a lifetime WSCS (now UMW) member and served on numerous committees.

She worked for Masonite Corporation for 16 years retiring from Trustmark Insurance Company after 21 years there.

Preceded in death by husband, daughter Marianne Taylor, parents and sister, Martha Ann Handy.

Survived by her daughter, Merilee Taylor, 6 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews and 16 great-great nieces and nephews.
