Mary E. Coons, 82, of Gladstone, MO, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 25, 2016, surrounded by her family. Mary was born October 1, 1934 in Fristoe, MO, to Elmer and Nellie King. Mary loved hunting with archery and firearms at which she was very proficient at using, always caught the biggest fish, a very active recreational bowler for over 50 years, and loved to water ski and camp with family. She was an actively involved member of Fairview Christian Church for over 51 years, which she dearly loved. Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold; 3 daughters, Andrea, Sheila, Delesa and 1 Rottweiler, Dixzi; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services are set for 11 AM Saturday December 31, 2016 at Fairview Christian Church (1800 NE 65th St; Gladstone, MO 64118) with the family receiving friends from 9-11 AM at the church. Burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens following services. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Fairview Christian Church.
