Mary Ruth Stegall

Mary Ruth (Webb) Stegall of Kansas City, Platte County Missouri, age 89, passed away at home surrounded by her family on November 25, 2025. She was born in Gashland, Missouri to Charley Cline Webb and Maud Frances Webb.

She attended Gashland Grade School and graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1954. She married her high school sweetheart, the love of her life, Robert Neil Stegall, on July 18, 1954. She was a legal assistant for more than 50 years. She was a member of Gashland Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, her mother and father, sisters, Jessie Ehrhart and Margaret McCollough, and an infant grandchild. She leaves their two sons, Robert Frederick Stegall (Carol) and Edward Paul Stegall (Kimberly) of Kansas City, Missouri, seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Her joys were her family, friends, home, books, photographs and Christmas.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM with Visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
