Michael Reed Edmondson, son of Mary Lou and the late Kenneth Edmondson, entered peacefully into eternal life Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Kansas City Hospice House. Michael was born August 11, 1961, in Springfield. He was raised in Bolivar and graduated from Bolivar High School. He went on to graduate from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. He was a devoted father to his three wonderful children, born during his marriage to Victoria Bommelaere. Mike’s career in sales and marketing was built on the relationships he made with others and the positive attitude he brought to life. He is survived by his sons, Brian and his fiancée, Jade Jarvis, and Matthew; his daughter, Elizabeth; his mother, Mary Lou; a sister and her husband, Cathy and Rick Cole; a brother and his wife, Mark and Cathy Edmondson; nine nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Briarcliff Church, 800 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, with services starting at 4. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the youth program at the First Baptist Church, Bolivar, where Mike gave his heart to the Lord at age 8, was baptized by his dad and joined the church.
