

He was born on April 2, 1964, in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Lawrence Jones and Margarette K. (Icenhour).
Michael attended Winnetonka High School, and went to work at various jobs, which included pipeline worker, Baker at Donut King, and was a proficient welder for Tracker Marine Boats.
He moved to Lake Pomme De Terre and married Claudia Boeddecker-Jones where he lived the lake life while boating and fishing any chance that he got.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence (Winky) Jones; father-in-law, Dieter Boeddecker; and grandparents, Wanda and Elmer Icenhour.
Mike is survived by his mother, Kathy Silvers, of Kansas City, Missouri; his two sons, Shane Jones and his wife Kaylee; Trevor Jones and his wife Becca; two grandchildren, Blair and Gibson; one sister, Tina Jones; and one niece, Amanda Tierney.
Mike leaves behind countless friends who he held a strong bond with. Mike always put family and friends first and will be greatly missed by everyone who was a part of his life.
