She was born on June 20th 1941 to Donald and Pauline Briggs. She grew up in Chanute, KS and after marrying her high school sweetheart, James Blair, moved to Kansas City and started a family. Nancy began her career at Southwestern Bell, and after taking early retirement in 1991, worked part time at Farmland Industries and volunteered at North Kansas City Hospital. She was an animal lover her entire life, and was always bringing home a stray cat or dog that would immediately become a part of her family. She was a generous and caring person who will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and her granddaughter Whitney Blair.
She is survived by her sons Jim Blair, Jeff Blair (Kim), dear friend John Shaller, Kansas City, grandson Josh Blair (Jesi), and two great grandchildren, St. Louis. Private services. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
