Nancy Jane Sheppard

Nancy was born March 23, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri to Clarence and Lillian Guyer. She graduated from North Kansas High School n 1964 with a degree in comptometry. Nancy married Kenneth Dean in 1964. Nancy began working for Mobile Oil as a comptometrist. Nancy became a homemaker once her and Kenneth had their two children, Kenna and Darren.

Her children remember her as a kind, gentle, and patient mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. She was a generous, witty, and dedicated individual who loved collecting dolls and who was passionate about music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lillian Guyer of Kansas City, Missouri, her brother, David Lee Guyer of Lake Waukomis, Missouri, her sister, Linda Loos of Kansas City, Missouri, and a niece, Patty Knox of Belton, Missouri.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Kenneth Dean; daughter, Kenna (Ricky) Clark of North Kansas City, Missouri; son, Darren (Crystal) Sheppard of Raymore, Missouri; four granddaughters, Ashley Noll, of Kansas City, Missouri, Chloe Clark of North Kansas City, Missouri, Cambree Williams of Raymore, Missouri, and Makayla Williams of Raymore, Missouri.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 1 to 2 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home (6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119), followed by a celebration of life 2 PM.
