

Nellie Williams, 83, of Kansas City, passed away on August 15, 2014. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 22, 2014, at White Chapel Funeral Home with visitation an hour prior to service. Nellie was born on May 7, 1931 in Kansas City, the daughter of Richard and Edith Greenfield. She was a member of the City Union Mission Church for many years. She was a housewife and homemaker throughout her life and was always diligent in providing for the needs of her dear family. Nellie loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Herbert, Kansas City; four children, Robert Greenfield, Kansas City; Anna Wealot, Independence; Irene Forbes-Nichols, Kansas City; and Fredrick Williams, Sr.; Kansas City; fourteen grandchildren, Elisha Gardner, Frankie Wealot, Herbie Wealot, Fredrick Wealot, Amber Travis, Misty Williams, Marion Williams, Shauna West, Talisa Greenfield, Tara Williams, Robert Williams, Tosha Williams, Fredrick Williams, Jr., and Joseph Williams; Twenty-five great-grandchildren, Adaisa, Tez, Fredrick, Carmen, Landon, Waylen, Kenny, Jeremiah, Joshua, Israel, Briyana, Alijah, Brandon, Aaron, Misty, Bo, Samantha, Ashley, Mitchell, Felicia, Angie, Felisha, Cloe, Michael and Serenity; four great-great grandchildren, Andrew, Avion, Veronica and Amiah and two more on the way; one brother, Donald Greenfield and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by, three children, Dorothy Travis, Edith and Herbert Williams, two grandchildren, Latisha Williams and Waylen Wealot, three siblings, Jr Greenfield, Eddie Greenfield and Irene Nicoles.
