Norma Jane Gregory

Norma was born on January 29, 1935 in Sedalia, Missouri to Russell and Ethel Webb. She graduated from North Kansas City High School.

She married J.L. Gregory on April 6, 1957. While living in Kansas City she made many wedding cakes and had a childcare in her home. After moving to Camden Point, Missouri, Norma began working for the North Platte School District as a paraprofessional. The couple had one son James Michael Gregory. Her family remember her as a kind and gentle Christian woman. Norma was accomplished at crafting and crocheting. She was an active and dedicated member of the Riverside Baptist Church and often shared the love of her Savior.

She is preceded in death by her husband J.L. Gregory, parents Russell and Ethel Webb, brothers Johnny ‘JR' Webb and Kenneth ‘Bob' Webb, sisters Freda ‘Gerri’ Head and Kathy Webb.

Norma is survived by her son James Michael (Cathy) Gregory of Weston, Missouri; granddaughter Krista (Drew) Smith of Agency, Missouri; granddaughter Kendra (Ben) Hart of St. Joseph, Missouri; great grandchildren Jace, Evan, and Daylyn; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Norma will be held Monday, July 10, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, Missouri 64119. The following morning, on Tuesday, July 11, the funeral will begin at 10:00 AM at Riverside Baptist Church, 5401 Mitchell Avenue, St. Joseph, Missouri 64507. Norma will then be taken in procession for graveside prayers at Camden Point Cemetery, 21010 N County Road EE, Camden Point, MO 64018.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverside Baptist Church in Norma’s memory.
