She was born to Albert and Lillian Turgeon on January 28, 1942 in Hennepin County, MN. As a child she enjoyed running and playing in the Minnesota snow with her two loving sisters.
After graduating from the University of Minnesota, Patricia worked in the airline industry. A perk of the job let her boldly travel far from home with friends. In Kansas City, on a blind date, she met her future husband, Leon Boone. Her adventurous spirit blessed her with two sons: Steven and John.
She proudly raised her two boys while working as a Medical Transcriptionist until retirement. She was blessed again with coworkers who became a cherished, life-long second family.
Like her mother, Patricia was a creative and artistic soul. She enjoyed drawing, painting, sculpting, photography, and more her entire life along with passing her creative gifts on to her sons. Patricia was also a devout child of God. Her dedicated, passionate study of the Bible and unwavering faith in the Lord sustained her through 20 years of Multiple Sclerosis.
She was preceded in death by her father Albert, mother Lillian and sister LaVonne. She is survived by her sister Ione (Minneapolis, MN), and two sons Steven and wife Mary (Kansas City, MO), John and wife Shelly (Kansas City, MO), and her nephews and nieces. All of whom she loved.
Her funeral services are Wednesday, March 24 at 11 a.m. at White Chapel Revelation Mausoleum in Gladstone, MO followed by interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
She was a dearly loved daughter, sister, mother and friend to so many and will be greatly missed.
