Patrick Joseph Walden

Patrick was born August 29, 1946, in Ironton, MO. He was raised in the Catholic faith and remained faithful all his life. He was a member of St. James Parish, Liberty, MO.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, William and his mother, Mary. He also lost six brothers and sisters to death.

He is survived by one brother, Jimmy Walden, Sioux Falls, SD

Patrick and his wife, Bette, are the proud parents of Brian Overturf (Kristine), Sean Walden (Keri), Deborah Tuttle (Robert), and Valerie Clawson (Roderick).

He was a hard worker and a generous father, trying to meet each one of his children’s needs in whatever way possible. He loved his seven grandchildren very much and hoped that each of them would grow to be just as wonderful adults as their parents are. They are Matthew Overturf (Lisa), Emily Overturf, Jack Tuttle, Ari Tuttle, Charles Tuttle, Lucas Clawson, and Vivienne Clawson. He recently celebrated the birth of his first great-grandson and namesake, Patrick Overturf.

Patrick worked in trucking his entire career, retiring nine years ago as the owner of BRW Express, LLC. He will be remembered fondly by his many friends and honored by his family for the rest of our lives. He made friends wherever he went and adopted as family people from all over the world. May he rest in peace.

A visitation will be held at North Cross United Methodist Church, (1321 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, MO 64118) on December 15, 2025, from 11 to 12:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM. A reception will take place following the service.
