Paula Trautwein

Paula Trautwein, 76, of Kansas City, Missouri joined her heavenly family on Wednesday October 18, 2023, with her family by her side. Paula was affectionately called “PeeWee” by her parents and many other family members.

Paula was born on July 28, 1947, to Pedro and Mary (Reveles) Sanchez in Kansas City, Missouri.

A graduate of Wyandotte High School and graduated with the class of 1965.

After her high school graduation, she joined Country Companies Insurance Co. and enjoyed her time with them for many years.

Prior to her parents passing she provided a loving environment for them with her special care and attention.

Paula was especially important when caring for her husband who was diagnosed with dementia.

Paula’s family describes her as an incredible mother, who always put others first, with a very caring and giving heart.

A hobby or obsession Paula had was collecting Pillsbury Dough Boy collectables, she managed to have quite a collection through the years with easily over a couple hundred items.

The family had many angels helping but would like to especially thank aunt, Esther Buso; cousin, Mary Mesa; and niece, Demetri Trautwein for their special care and help.

Paula was preceded in death by parents; her loving husband of 36 years, Terry Trautwein; her infant sister, Mary Lou; paternal grandparents, Elipado & Ignacia Sanchez; and maternal grandparents, Andres & Camila Reveles; and countless family members who she now joins.

Survivors include her son, Antronig “Andy” Kasparian; her stepson; Jeff (Lori) Trautwein; her stepdaughter, Amy Pittman; her sister, Linda (Joe) Lopez; three brothers, Pedro, Jr., Richard (Melissa), & Robert Sanchez; as well as many extended family, who will miss her.
