Ralph S. “Bud” Blair, 85, of North Kansas City, passed away peacefully to join preceded family members on July 9, 2014. Bud was born November 12, 1928 in Greenbrier, AR to the late Ralph and Ola (Seay) Blair.
On September 21, 1950, Bud married Alice Quick, who preceded him in death. Bud was a United States Army veteran. He had worked as a Firefighter for the NKC Fire Department then as a lineman for KCPL for 38 years.
Survivors include his children, Danny (Lori), Mike, Gary (Karen) Blair, and Susan (Herb) Blair-Parsons; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Alton and Freeda.
Funeral service will be at 10 AM Friday, July 11, 2014, at the White Chapel Funeral Home with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 AM prior to service.
