Rita departed this world on February 3, 2024, with loved ones by her side in her cherished hometown of Kansas City.
Rita is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Jim Watt; five children; son-in-law; numerous grandchildren; and a few great grandchildren; plus sisters and brothers.
Rita loved to cook, read, and spending time in her garden as well as snuggling with her fur babies. Rita was a beautiful soul, spreading love and joy as well as her wicked sense of humor.
Per Rita’s request, there will be no services or burial, but rather her ashes will be scattered in places that were special to her.
