Robert L. “Bob” Parker, 84, of Gladstone, MO passed away December 20, 2016 surrounded by his family. Bob was born November 9, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to Lewis and Dorothy (Seiter) Parker. He graduated from Central High School in 1951 and Central MO State University, Warrensburg, MO in 1956. Bob was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service, retiring 1996. He had a passion for golf and in his younger years enjoyed bowling. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Eager. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Busby) Parker; sons, Rick (Cheryl) Parker and Doug (Mary) Parker; son-in-law, Terry Eager; and 7 grandchildren, Ali (Alex), A.J., Bret, Drew, Ryan, Sara (Roy) and Matthew. Service 11:00am Saturday, December 24, 2016 at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Friday, at the funeral home.
