Roberta Maxine Maxwell, 88, of Pleasant Valley, MO passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at home. Roberta was born September 9, 1936, in Avalon, MO to Orville Chapins and Stella Summers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Orville, and her husband Edward. Survivors include her son Jim Hargrave, her daughter Sheila (Dale) Krull, her stepdaughter Sue (Lee) Mooney, grandchildren Laura (Michael) Holman, Karen (Dylan) Robinson, Savanna Scott, Dustin (Jade) Krull, and Jenny (Sam) Patel, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A visitation for Roberta will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE ANTIOCH RD, GLADSTONE, MO 64119. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 6600 NE ANTIOCH RD, GLADSTONE, MO 64119. A graveside service will occur Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 6600 NE ANTIOCH RD, GLADSTONE, MO 64119.
