Ruth was the beloved wife of Dewey Fortner for 58 years. She was the loving mother of Kim Fortner Diano & Christopher Fortner. Ruth was the proud grandmother of 7. She was the sister of Richard Barnes. Ruth is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Ruth was known for her dry sense of humor and her dedication as a real estate agent for over 45 years. Ruth loved chicken fettuccine alfredo, bread and butter, and took forever to eat both! Ruth also played a mean game of Deuces Wild and enjoyed her birthday lunches with her girlfriends. Ruth was always a huge fan of cruises on Royal Caribbean with family and friends. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on February 7th at 11AM with Visitation from 10:30AM until service time.
