Sharon was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to Erlene and Marion O’Brien. She graduated from North Kansas City High School and went on to build a life rooted in creativity, kindness, and service to others. She married Jeff Bash, having a family was always at the center of her heart.
Sharon was the devoted mother of Todd Bash (Tara), Trever Bash, and Kelly Bash, and the proud grandmother of Samuel Bash (Patience), Nathan Bash, Lucas Bash, Olivia Kennedy and Jill Kennedy. She is also survived by her sisters, Cathy Ham (John) and Karen Clinesmith (Wayne) and several nieces and nephews.
A gifted and talented creator, Sharon spent many years sharing her work and her warm spirit through craft fairs. She owned a flower shop and recently a chocolate shop, each reflecting her joy in bringing beauty and sweetness into the lives of others. She was also deeply involved in the Northland Christmas Store, giving her time and energy to help families in need.
Sharon had a remarkable gift for making chocolates and handmade treasures, spreading joy through every creation. She lovingly carried on the tradition begun by her mother—making prayer quilts and gifting them to all she encountered. Through these quilts, she offered comfort, hope, and a tangible expression of her love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Erlene and Marion O’Brien, who surely welcomed her with open arms.
Sharon’s thoughtfulness, creativity, and unwavering kindness touched countless lives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
