Shirley Ann (Cook) Driskell, 84, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2021, at the NorthCare Hospice House. She was born August 22, 1936 in Rock Port, Missouri to Elza Sylvester and Lillie Ann (Maness) Cook.
Shirley attended school at Red Star until 8th grade and then onto Rock Port High School. She graduated with a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1985. She practiced nursing for 20 years in various nursing homes. She also worked as a server for 20 years at the International House of Pancakes (IHOP).
Shirley married Raymond Leo Driskell on June 10, 1955. They welcomed son Lenny Ray, daughter Vickie Lea, son Douglas Leo, daughter Shirley Coleen and daughter Darla Jolene through the course of their marriage.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Elza Sylvester and Lillie Ann (Maness) Cook; son, Lenny Ray Driskell and brothers and sisters.
Shirley is survived by her sister, Irene Turner; children, daughter Vickie Lea Driskell, son Douglas Leo Driskell (Sheila Driskell), daughter Shirley Coleen Driskell, and Darla Jolene Kennedy (Johnny Keith Kennedy); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
