Sue Jenkins (née Fox), 85 died peacefully in her home in Kansas City, Missouri on May 25th, 2024. Sue was born in Montgomery County, Kansas on May 22nd, 1939, to Myrtle Ophelia & Homer Dick Fox. In 1958 Sue married Bill Jenkins in Independence Kanas and shortly after they had 3 children: Rebecca, James and Rhonda. They moved to Kansas City in 1965. Sue worked as a bookkeeper at various businesses, painted ceramics at Earthtone Originals, and was a kitchen and teachers aid at Holy Cross Lutheran School. Upon retirement Sue enjoyed spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with family, crochet, and crafts. She was also a devout member of the Gladstone Nazarene Church.Sue is survived by her three children: Rebecca Jenkins, James Jenkins (Angie), and Rhonda James (Leonard). Six immediate grandchildren: Brandon Jenkins, Katelyn Jenkins, Morgan Jenkins, Vanessa Jenkins, Amy Ballheimer (Dan), and Shane James. Six great-grandchildren: Isabella Jenkins, Austin Payne, MacKenzie James, and Miles Ballheimer as well as four great-great grandchildren.
