Tim was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to Byron and Karen Malone. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1983. In 1987 his daughter Cynthia was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the army and toured in Panama. After retiring from the army, he moved to Florida and began working in the trucking industry. In 1999, his son Jarrett was born in Gainesville, Florida.
His family remembers him as man who loved to ride motorcycles and travel through the United States with his friends. He was an avid pool player who won tournaments in Vegas as well as locally. He was a cross-country truck driver who enjoyed the open road and discovering new places. He was someone who always had a joke to share to lighten the mood. He was also the kind of man to ask his friends first how they were doing, and took an interest in what was going on in their lives with their families. Those closest to him will miss his laugh and his smile. Although more the strong, silent type, he made friends wherever he went. Some of his favorite activities were going to steak dinners with his mother, spending time with his brothers and attending his sons sporting events.
He is preceded in death by his father, Byron Malone.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Malone, his children, Cynthia and Jarrett Malone and his two brothers, Troy and Tad Malone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to the family and sent to White Chapel Funeral Home at 6600 NE Antioch Rd in Gladstone, Missouri.
The family would like to thank the hospital staff for their efforts as well as all of Timothy’s loved ones who have been so generous and heartfelt during this time.
