CPL Timothy P. Cates, Jr., 24, of Gladstone, MO passed on June 5, 2015. Born August 14, 1990 in Kansas City, MO to Tim P., Sr. and Michelle Hatfield. Tim obtained the Eagle Scout Award in 2008 and was a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say known as Tom-Tom Beater Swift Rising Wounded Bear. Tim joined the US Marine Corps in 2009 until his Honorable Discharge in 2013. Survivors include his parents; grandparents; his brother, Shawn; his sister, Ashley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers and sisters in the Marine Corps. SEMPER-FI Services are set for 1 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2015 at White Chapel Funeral Home with burial and Military Honors to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends from 11:30 AM–1 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warriors Fund.
