Visitation services will be held at Newcomer’s White Chapel from 6-8:30 pm November
26, 2019. A concelebrated funeral Mass will be at St. Andrews Catholic Church at 10
am November 27, 2019. Burial will follow services at Newcomer’s White Chapel Mausoleum. Father Vincent Rogers and Rev. Mike Quinn will officiate.
He was born April 30, 1966 in Kansas City, Mo to Wayne and Sue DeWald. He married Stephanie Nelson on June 16, 1990 in Kearney, Mo.
Todd’s survivors: Loving wife, Stephanie DeWald of the home; Sons, Seth and Anthony, who attend UMKC; Parents, Wayne and Sue DeWald of Kearney, Mo.; Sister, Leslie Woods of Gladstone, Mo; and brother, Doug DeWald of Liberty, Mo.
Todd graduated from Kearney High school. He worked for Stone Container for 15 years and currently at Ford Motor Company. Todd enjoyed playing softball and basketball in his young adulthood and loved going to the gym everyday after work. He was a diehard Kansas Jayhawks fan. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to everyone.
Memorials may be made to Kansas City Hospice or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
