

Tom was born on December 19, 1934 in Harrison County, MO to James and Fannie (Bartlett) Cutshall. Tom joined the Air Force in 1955, where he was stationed in France. He had great stores of traveling to Switzerland, Germany and may other great adventures when he was on leave. He always referred to his time in the Air Force as some of the most memorable times in his life.
Tom married JoAnn Sommerville in 1961. After moving to Kansas City, MO, he began working for TWA, first in the upholstery department and then on to the windshield department. He retired from TWA after 30 years of service. Tom was not one to stay at home, so he started working for Manheim Kansas City as a driver and retired after 15 years.
He will always be remembered by family and friends by his smile that would light up a room when he walked in, his deviled eggs, mac and cheese, and outlandish stories. He was the first to lend a hand for anyone that needed it with a kind heart and giving soul.
He will fondly be remembered by his two daughters, Joyce (Steve) Frisbie of Tarpon Springs, FL and Paula (Tim) Flavin of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Sheila (Steve) Marino, Vernon Porter, Casy (Jake) Lawson, and Natalie (Isaac Ray) Flavin; seven great grandchildren, Josh, Alex, Addison, Jolie, Janie, Harper, and Logan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many many good friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Cutshall; sister, Esther Reed; and brother, Ferris Cutshall.
