Wayne was born on April 26, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to Condry and Mildred Croy. He graduated from KCU “UMKC” in 1953 with a degree in Economics and Accounting. Wayne married the love of his life Mildred “Millie” Good in 1952. They had three children: Tammy, David and Steve. His family will remember him as a generous man who was passionate about family, faith, and making a positive difference in the lives of others. “Life was a present from God.” He built, owned and retired from Wayne Croy Car Care Center. He was an active member of Faubion United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men and volunteered for 11 years at Harvesters. He was a past Grand Master at Alpha Masonic Lodge 659. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; Condry and Mildred Croy, and his brother Vernon Croy.
He is survived by his wife Millie Croy, of 66 years, children Tammy (Kenny) Eldridge, David (Cindy) Croy and Steve (Tandy) Croy, grandchildren Zach and Lauren Eldridge, Sam (Margaret) and Ben Croy, Taylor (Seth) Brown and Douglas (Abigail) Croy, a great granddaughter soon to be born, sister Vivian Loipersbeck and nieces and nephews.
