Joanne P. Petrosky Townsend

Joanne P. Townsend, 75, beloved widow of Edgar Townsend since 2004, passed on Friday, November 27 at Valerie Manor in Torrington, CT. She was born on August 29, 1940 in Torrington, a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Klosowski) Petrosky.

Joanne attended & graduated from UConn. She resided in Glastonbury for many years. Joanne was employed by Heublein, retiring in 1995. She was a parishioner of the Church of Saint Dunstan in Glastonbury and a member of the Book Club and church garden club.

Joanne is survived by her sister Kathy White of Torrington, niece Kim Ertelt, nephews John, Greg, David Petrosky and Chris White. She is predeceased by her brother, John Petrosky.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, 9-11am at Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Tnpk., Glastonbury CT. 06033, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am in The Church of Saint Dunstan, 1345 Manchester Road, Glastonbury.
