Dear Brother, it's been 2 years since you've been gone but I still think of you everyday. I still wish God didn't call you home but he has the final say not us.  And I accept that.  We do our best to take care of Mama,  Papa and the Family.  And they're all doing okay by the Grace of God.  🙏🙏 
You were such a good brother Jimmy.  You really were. When you devote your life to God, you truly did.  May you be a peace now. 😔

Dear Jimmy,
It's been a year since God called you home. And we still miss you here. I will never forget that day, it was so horrible but I will always, always be grateful for those who were there for us during such a horrible time. One thing it taught me is that being present during such a time can mean so much to a person. Truly it can.  Do you remember how you used to always watch football on Sundays with the guys. The Cowboys got to the playoffs but we got booted by the 49ers, Boo! And the Cardinals, they did not even make it to the playoffs.  Anyhow, Mama and Papa are doing okay by the Grace of God. We started fixing the house up and it's looking a whole lot better. We have a ways to go but we are slowly getting there. We got two new puppies and they are so cute. Well,  they are not puppies anymore they're about 6 months old now but they are getting so big.  I still wish God didn't call you home but he did. Jimmy you were the epitome of a good brother. You were always so selfless, always putting others first in your life. I pray you are at peace now Brother. I will always keep you in my prayers.  May you always be with God.🙏🙏🙏

Below is a "memory" from Frank, who is the brother-in-law of Jimmy.
Our brother, Jimmy, there's one word that describes him best, "genuine".  Years ago, when Jimmy would approach me about the word of the Lord, I would tell him that I believed that God was a "space traveler" that the real bible was called , "The Chariots of the Gods" (a book that was written in 1968)...he'd look at me and gave me that "Jimmy grin".  I had him going for a long with that one. Jimmy was always the guardian of our souls whether we knew it or not. He was our gate keeper, our Gabriel. He wanted all of us to be in God's arms when we are called home. He was a true believer, one of a kind who devoted his life for all of us to believe in God.  It is true, he will no longer be with us in the flesh, but he will always be with us in our hearts and our minds. So to our brother, Jimmy, as you are now with our savior, pray for us so that we can all be together one day in the paradise you wanted for all of us.  Love and miss you, your family

Jimmy, I still remember the day when I got the call from Mary at work, telling me that you had passed away.  To say it was a shock was an understatement!  We were all so devastated and heartbroken that day when God called you home.  It was such a horrible day.  I kept asking myself, is this really happening and yes, it did happen.  I even kept asking God, why, why did he call you home?  I didn't understand and I wanted to know.  Jimmy, you truly were such a Good Brother.  Really, you were.  You were always Honest and Fair.  And you were so humble, never loud or boastful.  And the one thing that I will always remember the most about you, is your deep Faith in God.  Whenever one of us was sick or a crisis affected us or the family, you would gather us all around and pray.  I can still remember way back, you preaching to us about turning our lives to God. I can even remember you going to see family to talk about God and to turn their lives to the Lord.   And not only that but in the bible, it says:  “Honor thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee" and you did that, Jimmy.  Really, you did!!  You were so selfless on taking care of our Mama and Papa.  You always did what you could to help them and be there for them in their time of need.  But not only them but the Family too.  And in return, you never asked for anything.  I wish I could go back in time and tell you what a Wonderful and Good brother you were and that I love you but I can't, you're gone now.  :(  Jimmy, you did so much good on this earth and we will all MISS YOU SO MUCH especially Mama and Papa!  I will do my best to take care of them and the Family.  I know you're with God now.  Until I see you again, big brother!  Your baby sister, Elizabeth.

To my little brother, Jimmy, I just wanted to let you know that you’re truly missed here on earth by our Mama, Papa, I myself, Margie, and all our brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
