She was born on October 12, 1941, in Mancelona, Michigan, to William and Violet Alexander.
Alice will be remembered for her joyful spirit and her love of having fun. She loved to dance, especially to Johnny Cash, and she always enjoyed entertaining, cooking, and baking for family and friends. The holidays were especially meaningful to her, and she brought warmth, laughter, and love to every gathering.
Alice is survived by her loving son, David Allen Thrasher; her daughter, Dawn Marie Alfadda; her grandchildren, Jason Thrasher, Kristy LaBelle, Kaleb Alfadda, Jennifer Thrasher, Steven Thrasher, and McKinzie Thrasher; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Byron Thrasher; her son, Dennis Lee Thrasher; and her granddaughter, Angela Vanzorean.
Alice will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, on May 20, 2026, at 9:00 am, followed by a Graveside Service at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 West Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona, on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 am.
