May 27, 1990 – March 19, 2026
It is with deep love and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Alysse Nicole Samuelson, who left this world on March 19, 2026, at the age of 35.
Alysse was born on May 27, 1990, in Phoenix, Arizona, to John and Valerie Samuelson. She was a beloved daughter, a devoted mother, and a cherished sister whose presence brought warmth and light to all who knew her.
From a young age, Alysse had a heart for caring for others. She began her journey of service at just 16 years old, showing compassion, strength, and a natural gift for helping those in need. By the age of 21, she had become a nurse, dedicating her life to healing and caring for others with kindness and grace.
Alysse faced challenges in her life, as many do, but through it all she remained a loving and devoted mother to her greatest joys, Ellyott Knox and Giyanna Valerie. Her children were the center of her world, and she carried a deep and abiding love for them that will continue to surround and guide them always.
Alysse will be remembered for her compassion and her wit—her ability to care deeply for others while also bringing lightness and laughter into their lives. She had a way of making people feel seen, comforted, and valued.
Though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on in her children and in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Her family finds comfort in God’s promise:
Isaiah 40:31 - a reminder that those who hope in the Lord will be renewed and lifted in strength.
Alysse’s life was a gift, and her legacy will live on through the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the family she cherished.
“Our beautiful Alysse,
you were our heart and our light. We will carry your love forward and surround your children with it every single day. Though we cannot hold you here, we will hold you in our heart always. You will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever a part of us.”
In Loving Memory
John and Valerie Samuelson
and all who loved her deeply
