

Anna Teresa Banks, a faithful, kind-hearted, and generous woman, passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 63. She was born on August 17, 1962, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Fernando and Elidia Lujan.
Her career was marked by her role as a Judicial Assistant working for the Arizona State Court of Appeals. Known for her contagious laugh and love for people, she had a positive effect on all who knew her. Anna had a passion for singing and was part of two bands in her lifetime, Los Corazones De Oro and The Stilettos. Her love for cooking was well-known amongst her community. Her dinner parties included authentic mexican and spanish foods such as paella, enchiladas and tamales. The food Anna made for those she loved was comforting and felt like home. Anna was a woman of deep faith and spirituality. Her friends and family would describe her as a true soldier for Christ. She loved teaching people about the Lord and His word. She is now resting in the presence of the Heavenly Father.
She is survived by her children, Vanessa (James), Jessica Banks, and Rebeka (Casey) Hanson, and her grandchildren, James Jr., Jesse, Adryana, and Jacen. Anna also leaves behind her siblings, Mario Lujan, Kristine Lujan, and Fernando Lujan Jr., as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
