Benny, what a Godly man and a Great friend. Many years ago my wife and I met Benny and Syndi at a Bible study at NCC. We were having marital and family problems. So, Benny and Syndi reached out to us with open arms. Benny came along side of me to 
teach me on how to be a Godly Husband/Father. Syndi began the same process with my wife. Benny taught
me through reading scripture, listening, encouragement, humility, patience, and unconditional love. He took on my burdens as if they were his own. He forfeited many of nights with his family to mentor me. During this time Syndi was doing exactly the same for my wife.
We all became great friends through this long time of mentoring me. 
Now, many years later Benny, Syndi,
the boys and their families are a part of our family.
I thank God for placing Benny, Syndi and the boys in our lives.  I know God has used Benny to touch and change many lives. He was like a brother to me and continued to teach me.  He was so humble that he would deny all he had done for me. But I know God has rewarded him Greatly in heaven. Thank you, Syndi for everything.  Thank you, Benny for mentoring and encouraging me. I will miss talking to you and being a Great Friend to me!

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Benny's passing. I had only know him for about 4 years, but we made a great connection through our faith. We worked together at Amazon and I had the pleasure of being his manager for about a year. He was my 'right hand man.' Benny was a hard worker, a man of integrity. He did the right thing because it was the right thing to do, not for recognition or reward. The team respected him and he personally mentored and poured into our team, making them 'the best customer oriented IT team' according to one of our General Managers who had been with the company over 10 years. We worked, talked, and prayed together on many occasions. I am sad because he is not with us, but part of me is jealous because he is with Jesus, pain and sickness free! He will be dearly missed.

I was extremely saddened by the loss of my good friend Benny.  Juanita and I send our deepest condolences to Synthia and Family.  Benny will be in my memories and heart always.  

Benny was like a brother to me in high school.  We would drive down Central Ave. in his truck usually on Friday night and talk about what we were going to do in life.  Benny did exactly what he said.  He married the love of his life and raised a family dedicated to our lord.  I recall so many experiences with Benny that has helped shape who I am today.  We established a printing press in high school, were teammates, attended Boy State, and ASU together.  He was a great man then and now.  You will never be forgotten and I look forward to the day we meet again.  Save a room for me.  God bless the Diaz family and God speed Benny.

Uncle Ben,
You were an amazing man of God. You had a heart like David, a servants heart. You were the greatest role model of what a husband and father should be in the eyes of the Lord. Your were a great brother and son and most of all LOVED your family. You were the best uncle in the world making sure I didn't go without and stepped up to fill in the gaps that my father left. My childhood was filled with love and nurturing because of you. I am filled with the spirit and have served for 22 years of my life in church because of a foundation that was modeled by you. You were one of God's greatest gifts to me and for that I am forever thankful to the Lord. I love you and my heart breaks. Until we meet in God's kingdom, love jacabell

Do you remember growing up with the best person, friend, scholar, teammate, etc. That was Benny. I met Benny in 1963, when my father took me over to meet the family. Yes, we started first grade together and I knew he was the student to follow. Every class, every subject, he taught me about learning and the passion for life; having fun.  Benny let me follow him all the way through C.J.Jorgenson, V. H.Lassen and to begin at South Mountain High School as Rebels. Joining the Boys Scouts may have been the best Boys Club Ever and Benny lead us there also; remember Frank. We lost contact as we became adults; but I already miss him and from the way I reacted when I heard; the hole in my heart will never go away. My Family's prayers will be sent to the Diaz family. Maybe seeing Benny in the future will calm me again, just like when I was 5 years old. Wait for me Mentor! I love you.

I met Benny at Sears service dept where we were employed, Benny came to sears as a refrigeration technician and went on to service computers for sears. Benny was one of the nicest persons you'd ever want to meet. Benny I was sad to hear about your passing, thank you for being a friend and may the lord have your room in his house ready for you!.
This world and I will miss you.


So sad to hear of Benny's passing. I worked with him for many years at Sears, and even though we lost touch over the years his smile and happy spirit still live fondly in my heart.  My thoughts and prayers  are with his family and friends. Linda Whitehead Scott

I was shocked to see this.  I worked with Benny at Circle K and he was such a great person.  He would bring in food that was out of this world, I especially remember the breakfast burritos. To the family of Benny, please accept my sincerest condolences.  I know he will be missed immensely.

Benny was an outstanding teammate and friend. I will always remember his hardworking,positive and respectful nature.
May god bless his family with lots of happy memories. 
I can still see his smile as he drove home from school with Frank Riding shotgun.

God Bless you Benny!  In 8th grade English class, you and I both sat in the front and across from each other.  On one difficult assignment, you once remarked, "If Cesar can do it, so can I." You were always a born leader. Peace to your family, dear friend.

Our Thoughts and prayers are with the entire Diaz Family.  May you find comfort in knowing that Benny is no longer suffering as he walks happily with his Savior.

Hey old friend. Thanks for the friendship throughout high school. You are a very special person. You are blessed with a beautiful family you will remain strong and keep you in their memories.

It,s sad when you hear a former schoolmate and friend has gone on to be with the lord. we all lose touch after high school and it,s hard when starting a family,jobs or continuing your education .Benny was good people to be around. When we talk about our high school days his name always came up.His family and South Mountain Rebel family will sure miss him.
