Carol Elizabeth Furlong was born In Barberton, Ohio on December 11, 1939. Her father was George Albert Ralston and her mother was Mary Mariam Landis. She graduated from Barberton High School, June 1957. She joined the United States Air Force in June of 1959 and served our country until March 1961. Carol married John F. Furlong on December 13, 1969. The couple have two daughters Denise Louise Furlong, Jennifer Lynn Furlong and one son John F. Furlong Jr.
Carol worked the past 20 years for the Phoenix Police Department. She worked as a 911 operator and at the Communication Desk at the Squaw Peak Station. After her retirement in 1999, Carol and her husband Jack became R.V. travelers. They enjoyed the fun and adventure of the open road.
Carol will be missed by her family and all the 911 operators, with whom she reunited with once a year at the Christmas bunch.
