Born July 26, 1961 in Chicago, Ill , passed into eternal life on July 25, 2024 at age 62 years of age. Cathy was suffering from several health issues and passed away as a result of cardiac arrest.
She lived with Jim, her spouse and Elijah, her grandson.
Cathy grew up in Chicago as the youngest of 7 siblings, a life of adventure -- growing up in a large family, and raised in the Christian faith. The family moved to Arizona where Cathy started her own family . Her family was most important to her and she prayed for them and trusted God to help, provide for and protect them on many occasions.
She is survived by her spouse, James Queen, and her daughter, Denice Charles, and 3 sons, Edward, Michael, and Mathew Shuttleworth and Nicole (her niece). Her grandchildren also meant the world to her. They are Elijah, Angelo ,Benjamin, Gino, Brena, and Lydia, Theodore (her grand-nephew).She is also survived by her older sisters, Yolanda, Angeline, Marcia and brother Harold.
A Celebration of Life date will held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9400 (VFW) at 804 E Purdue Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85020, on Saturday, August 3rd, from 4-7 P.M.
