

Dawn Ellen (Chubbuck, Cecil) Langill, 80, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on February 1st, 2017. Born March 12th, 1936 in Culver City, CA. She moved to Boston as a little girl & then to Arizona when she was 12. Her family owned Chubbuck’s Dairy in Miami, AZ. She graduated from Miami High School & then attended college at ASU. In 1961 she moved to Sacramento & North Highlands, CA. She moved back to Phoenix, AZ in 1974 with her family, where she was currently living. She was a homemaker & later retired from American Express. She was a member of The International Order of Rainbow for Girls in Miami, AZ & was currently a member of The Order of Eastern Star, Peoria Chapter #59. She was active in the community & volunteered at John C Lincoln Hospital where she became Chairman of the Puppet Sewing Committee. She also was active with her children in Scouts & youth Masonic Organizations. Survived by: her mother Verna; brother John “Denny”; daughters Pamela & Roberta; 4 grandchildren Richard, Amanda, Rusty & Tori; 1 great grandson David; & several nieces & nephews. Proceeded in death by: her father Edward “Chubb”; husbands Eugene Sr & Gilford Jr; brother Robert; & son Eugene Jr. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister & friend. She was especially adored by her children & grandchildren, & we will miss her more than words can express. Memorial Service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary 7924 N 59th Ave Glendale Az 85301 on Wednesday February 8th, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
