

A resident of Sun City, Arizona, Dennis was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
Dennis was known for his active and mischievous nature from a young age. He was very athletic and had a passion for creating and inventing. His interests included building, working with his hands, gardening, old cars, writing, cooking, and gold panning.
His intellectual curiosity and creativity were evident in his poems and short stories, as well as his skill in electronics and inventing. He was fond of singing while working or cooking, often entertaining those around him with his persistence and stubbornness. He was well known for singing many of the popular hits from the oldies.
Dennis is predeceased by his father, Dean Huling; his mother, Bessie Huling; his older brother, Michael Huling; and his nephew, Shawn Huling.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Huling; his daughters, Brenda Serna, Bridget Hatting, and Amy Philbert; his younger sister, Lisa Kabbas; and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Erica, Grayson, and Alejandra. He also leaves behind his nieces, Michelle and Jennifer; his nephew, Jon; his sons-in-law, Alberto, Tim, and Mortimer; his brothers-in-law, Ed and Brian; and many cherished cousins.
Visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, on February 13, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with the committal service taking place from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
Dennis Huling leaves behind a legacy of creativity, love, and determination, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
