

Doris was born and raised in Neenah, WI. She married her High School Sweethear Tom Olson on June 27, 1941. She was a dedicated loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. During WWII, they were stationed at the Whidy Island, WA., and it was there in 1944 that she attended Gospel meetings and vowed to serve God. She was true to that vow all the rest of her days, and encouraged her family and others to do the same.
In 1948 they moved to So CA., living in a couple of places before settling down in the San Fernando Valley. During their life they lived in WI, Wa, CA, and AZ, and it was their priviledge to have a Sunday morning meeting in their home for 37 of those years. A priviledge they took very seriously.
Doris is survived by, four Sons Larry (Judy) of Peoria, AZ, Jim (Kristen) of Sun City, AZ, Gary of Neenah, WI, and Tom (Sally) of Darboy, WI. Two Sisters in Law, Nelda Fahrbach of Neenah, WI. and Vera Redlin of Menasha, WI. Seven Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Granddaughter, many Nieces and Nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Tom, Parents, George and Elsie Redlin., one Brother, Ernest, one Sister, Florence, three Brothers in Law, Minor Olson, Knute Fredericks and Ken Fahrbach.
Doris passed away quietly after, after a long battle with Cancer. Her last seven days were spent at the hospice of the Valley in Sun City, AZ where she received excellent care. Some of the last words she spoke to the family were, “I love you, and, keep faithful.”
