Duke served his country with dedication as a Rank AT3 in the Navy, where he worked as a target drone technician. His commitment to his country was exemplary and earned him the respect of all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his grandson, A.J. Duke is survived by his loving wife, LaVelle Marie Walker, and his sons, Darryl (Annie) and Ron (Karen) Walker. He leaves behind cherished memories with his grandchildren, Alex, Kenzie, Andee, Tanner, Jacob, Grace, as well as his great-grandchildren, Lily, Reagan, Charlotte, Walker, Bodie, Lottie, Jack, Lucy, Gentry, Maxine, and Arlo.
Duke had a deep love for family, sports, and nature. He enjoyed hiking, traveling, and music, and had a passion for coin collecting. Family table games were a cherished pastime, bringing joy and laughter to his household.
Charles "Duke" Walker will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and dedication to his family will continue to inspire future generations.
