Eddie Lee Holden

On Sunday morning February 8th Lee went peacefully to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born on April 19, 1938, in Caballo, New Mexico to Jefferson Lewis Holden and Elsie Evans. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dotti (Lutrick), son Dennis (w. Maria, c. Sarah, c. Sean), daughter Denise (h. Alan Olson, c. Zach, c. Caleb), sister Jessie Lou Mercer, as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces. He was proceeded in death by his parents, brother Stan (w. Margie c. Stan Jr.) and sister Colleen Lopez.

Lee married the love of his life on November 20, 1960. He was raised in Ajo, AZ where he met 3 boys that ended up being lifelong friends, till each one went to be with the Lord.

As a graduate of Grand Canyon College, he was a schoolteacher at Catalina Jr high for 39 years. He loved to bowl and was in several leagues. As a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Glendale since 1972. He loved to teach his bible study class. He loved his Lord, wife, children and grandchildren. He was a man that you never heard a curse word from his mouth and never spoke ill of anyone.

A visitation will be held on February 23, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the First Southern Baptist Church of Glendale, located at 10250 N 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85302.

The funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A committal service is scheduled for February 23, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
