Edna May Sparks

22 enero, 1927 – 9 noviembre, 2025
Obituario de Edna May Sparks
EN EL CUIDADO DE

West Resthaven Funeral Home & Resthaven Park Cemetery

Edna May Sparks passed away peacefully on Sunday morning November 9, 2025 at 98 years young. She was born in Liverpool, England on January 22, 1927 to Henry and Edith Giles.

Edna lived her life to the fullest, each and every day. She was known for always being happy and greeting everyone with a smile. She never met a stranger and everywhere she went was an adventure!

After finishing school in England, she worked as a bookkeeper. Even though her first job was bookkeeping she would add up telephone numbers in her head to keep her mind sharp. She was still doing this up until her passing. Edna emigrated from England to America in 1961 and lived in Arizona with her husband Robert and young family. She loved America and felt blessed to live her life in this beautiful country.

Her first job in America was in retail which is where she met her best friend Pat Dobbie. Edna believed in giving back to the community and helping people volunteering regularly at Arrowhead Hospital and the Mayo Clinic.

More than anything else her family is what mattered most to her! Edna is survived by her loving children, her son Alan Sparks, her daughter Hilary Martinez married to Leo, her twins, son Clifford Sparks married to Julie and daughter Allison Sparks married to Matthew Reger. Her five wonderful grandchildren, Alicia Jasken, Brandon Martinez married to Ashley, Geoffrey Sparks married to Mariah, Jacob Reger and Aspen Reger. She also has 3 beautiful great granddaughters, Allie, Kyndal and Kinleigh Martinez and another great granddaughter on the way.

Edna is preceded in death by her husband and one true love, Robert Sparks.

Edna aka “The Queen” loved by all who knew her will be deeply missed but never forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever.
