Mom
As a little girl I remember how warm you kept our house on Ocotillo during the cold weather and having oatmeal for breakfast. As I got older you looked for ways to keep us busy and entertained by teaching us to embroider and playing games- Checkers and Old Maid. You worked hard to maintain our home by cleaning, doing laundry, cooking and on occasion painting. You also taught me the responsibility of paying bills. Growing up with your love and seeing your hard work is what I took to my home and family. Thank you for loving me, making me the daughter, mother and Nana I am today and for helping me with my kids.

Nana,
There are so many memories to mention. The family holidays and special event gatherings at your house.  You comforted me as my mom drove us to the ER when I busted my finger and kept saying to you "no me quiero morir" to massaging my legs because of my "growing pains" and warming the Jergen's lotion by placing the bottle on the stove during the winter so we didn't have to use cold lotion as we got ready for school. These are the ways you showed us your love. My love of flowers comes from remembering all of the different flowers and the colors you always had in your yard. My favorite is the Sweet Pea- Chicharo. Thank you for loving us and all of the good memories. You will always be in my, Willie's and our kids hearts.

Lina (Mom),
        I will miss you dearly. You were there for me as a mother when my mother passed.  I loved our special secret code we had to comfort and make each other laugh.  I will miss that dearly. 
         I know you are in heaven will all the relatives and God,because you had such a beautiful kind soul!

To my dear Cousins, I am deeply saddened for your loss.  May you know that others hold you close to their hearts during this difficult time.
One of many great memories of Tia Lina, was when Emilio (Grandson age 4 at the time) and me, went to IHOP for breakfast one beautiful Tuesday morning and all three (3) of us order coffee, that's right a 4 year old orders coffee, my Tia got a big kick out of that one!  My Tia Lina would say "how are the kiddos" never forgot to ask, and that was special to me.
Rest in peace Tia and give my best to everyone who have gone before us.

I will miss you and will always have the memories that you have created for me from childhood to an adult. The days of family gatherings which were so special for me , the breakfast you have cooked  when our family visited at times early morning on the weekends especially the eggs😁. Yep those were good memories yourself and Tata Cruz always having your coffee and that canned carnation milk mixed in. You were quick witted with a sense of humor which will be missed. Now you will be at a place with peace and a great welcome with a smile and open arms from my Tata saying “ what took you so long woman “.  You will surely be missed Nana and I love you.

I will miss you always, but you will never be forgotten. My heart will ache, but will not be broken, but stronger. Your Love, inspiration and dedication to me will for ever guide me through life. Your laughter, smiles and quick wit will last me a lifetime and keep me focused during life's challenging moments. Your work here is complete and fulfilled and has not been in vain for it has made me a better person for it,   
Go, my mother, for your path has not been straight, but varied and more difficult than for most, however be assured your struggles through life made my path in life easier with the light cast by you for me. 
Your path is now complete, thank you with all my heart and love and may your new journey take you to the Paradise you were promised and worked so hard for. May your journey be filled with family and friends full of love, may it be bright, beautiful and perfect.
