Fleurette Florence Gauthier

Fleurette Florence Gauthier, age 88, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona. She leaves her son Gary (wife Susanne); her daughter Cheryl (husband David); five grandchildren, Amy, Jordan, Morgan, Bryce, and Brandon; two great grandchildren, Hailey and Logan; and her twin sister Laurette Bibeau (husband Donald). Fleurette is preceded in death by her parents Wilfred and Alice Morin, husband of 60 years Russell, and granddaughter Tricia. She was born March 22, 1935 in Nashua, New Hampshire and graduated from Saint Louis de Gonzague High School. Graduation from Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing led to a long career as a Registered Nurse. The family moved to Arizona in 1968. She was a dedicated nurse who spent the majority of her career in geriatrics. Among her employers was the Beatitudes Campus, where she later decided to live after the passing of her beloved Russ. Her final few years were spent working for Hospice of the Valley. She loved gardening and was a member of the Phoenix Garden Club. She was an avid crafter and participated in many craft shows. Friends and family will miss her homemade holiday decorations and tasty baked goods. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Beatitudes Campus-Life Center, 1610 West Glendale Ave, Phoenix, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, she asked for donations to the Beatitudes Campus Foundation, designated to the Resident Assistance Fund, which benefits residents with financial difficulties.
