Francis E. Adair

He was born on October 20, 1935 in Darby, Montana to the late Cas and Jane Adair.

Francis met Phyllis Schick in 1961 when he asked her to dance. They married on September 22, 1962. Francis and Phyllis traveled throughout their marriage before settling in Arizona in 1990. Phyllis passed away on February 2, 2021, leaving Francis heartbroken. They had shared over 58 years of marriage.

He was a structural engineer and helped design many parts of the space shuttle and F-16 fighters, tanks and rockets

Francis loved thrift stores, swap meets and was an avid reader of western novels.

He is survived by son George & daughter-in-law Catherine, three grandchildren, Sarah, Ann Marie & George, Jr., his sister Gloria and niece and nephew David and Debbie

In addition to the love of his life Phyllis and his parents, his brother Jerry preceded Francis in death.
