Gary Allen Grusendorf

Gary was born on July 7, 1947 to parents Allen Lee Grusendorf and Mildred (Nita) Grusendorf with one older sister Penny Burger.

After graduating Tempe High School in 1965, he met a lovely woman by the name of Cheryl Ann Freeman for their marriage lasted 51 years. They had two wonderful children, Brent Allen Grusendorf, and Tiffenie Ann Grusendorf Conlon. Gary had a beautiful granddaughter named Ashlyn Rey Conlon and his son in law, Shane Conlon.

Gary retired when he was 60 years old. Gary and Cheryl went on numerous adventures together throughout the country. When his beloved wife passed away in 2019 he continued to follow his dreams and traveled to Alaska and Oregon the last two summers.

His hobbies consisted of camping, fishing and traveling the mountains trapping mountain lion, fox, and coyotes. He was truly one of the last outdoorsman.

His overall passion was yard sales. He spent over 50 years collecting rare finds.

Gary enjoyed being around family and friends. He loved entertaining or just having neighbors stop by.

Gary (Papa’s) will be truly missed. He was a one of a kind mind and our memories of him will last forever.
