Geneva Casella passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 4, 1940 to Walter Stratton and though she did not have the chance to know her mother for very long, as she had passed when Geneva was the age of 3, she thought that both of her parents were great individuals and she loved her father very much.
Geneva is known for her quiet and unassuming demeanor and was beautiful both inside and out. She enjoyed reading and would read about romance and far away places, which is how she learned about the world. She had an extreme love of animals and her family, especially her daughters Elizabeth and Vickie, who unfortunately passed at a young age, and her husband James. Geneva and James were married when they were both 20 and had a loving marriage up to his passing in 2016. Though Geneva had a hard life, she overcame any hardships that came her way and was a pillar to her family.
Geneva is survived by her loving daughter Elizabeth and her older sister, Barbara Tayco who is located in Florida.
Geneva is preceded in death by her husband James , daughter Vickie, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and her parents.
Geneva will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Heaven has gained another Angel.
