George Edward Blair Sr.

George Edward Blair Sr., age 76, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. George was born July 17, 1945 in Streator, Illinois to Alice and Carl Blair. George proudly served his country in the United States Navy during Vietnam, earning several medals for his dedication and bravery. We are grateful for his service.

George married the love of his life, Carol E. Blair, and they created a beautiful family together. They had two children Duriye and George Jr.; nine grandchildren - Jenna, Amber, Kayli, Jonny, Kierra, Jacob, Isaiah, Rosalie and Titus; and three great-grandchildren - Lincoln, Liam and Averie.

A memorial service for George will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship, 906 W. Peoria Ave., Phoenix, Arizona 85029 at 11 o'clock in the morning. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, Arizona 85301 at 10 o'clock in the morning.
