Helen Brown

"Grandma Brown" was born in Okfuskee, Oklahoma on April 16, 1922 to Robert and Sylvia Crosby. She grew up in Oklahoma near Indian Territory. Helen met the love of her life, Dave Brown in grade school and they were sweethearts until the day they were marred on June 24, 1939 in Okmulgee Oklahoma.

Helen and Dave were blessed with two children, Ernie and Donna.

Grandma Brown had many interests. She and Dave loved to travel, and Grandma Brown loved to cook for her family, and also enjoyed fishing, camping, and crocheting. Above all, Grandma Brown's family was everything to her, including her beloved cat Baby.

In 1981 Dave Brown passed away, and in 2009 the Lord also called home Grandma Brown's son Ernie.

Grandma Brown is survived by her daughter Donna Martin, her daughter-in-law, Linda Brown; her grandchildren TC Collins (Hugh), Melissa Young, Andria Kendrick (Chad), Lori Burgan (Michael), Tami Martin, Sara Lethbridge (Josh), and Reece Martin (Vanessa);

and her great grandchildren Ashlie, Sydney, Sean, Courtney, Paige, Kyle, Brennan, Scott, Kylie, Collin, Louie, Wesley, Jennifer, Russell, and Helen.

Funeral Services will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, AZ on Wednesday, June 19th at 1:00pm with a visitation half-hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest at Rest Haven Cemetery in Glendale.
