Irene Gutierrez

Irene Gutierrez (nee Robles) 66 Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home Thursday morning, May 5, 2011. She was one of 8 children born to Josefina and Esteban Robles. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Oscar Gutierrez and her four children Ruben Gutierrez, Efrain & (Silvia) Gutierrez, Oscar Javier & (Marisa) Gutierrez and (Esmagardo) & Rosario Vargas and 11 grandchildren-Cynthia, Daniel, Adrian, Crystal, Lauren, Laura, Angel, Eric, Andrea, Natalia, and Karina. She is preceded in death by her daughter Laura Denise. Irene was a devout Catholic, she loved her family very much. She also loved maintaining her garden. Irene had compassion for animals, she loved her pets, also, Irene would rescue stray birds, cats and dogs. Visitation will be held at Green Acres Glendale Mortuary located on 5830 W Missouri Ave on Wednesday May 11, 2011 from 5 to 10 pm with a Rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday 10 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 5614 W Orangewood Ave followed by interment at Glendale Memorial Park. A special thank you to family members and Hospice of the Valley for providing care and support when Irene needed it the most.
