Isabel Carrillo Ruiz

Isabel Carrillo Ruiz died on Thursday, January 27th in her home in Peoria, Arizona, surrounded by her family. She was 94 years old. She was born on July 25, 1927, in Clarkdale, Arizona. She worked as a loan officer for Valley National Bank for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She took care of every member of her family in some way. She is remembered for her giving, kind, and humble spirit. She is fondly remembered for her cooking especially her sopa and beans.

She is survived by her daughters, Alice, and Linda Lavander (Pete) and son, Ernest Ruiz Jr. (Rachel), her daughter in law, Liz Ruiz and 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, and her son, John Ruiz and her grandson Carlos Lavander, her parents, Alejo Carrillo and Josephina Molinar and her siblings Claudio Carrillo, Esteban Carrillo, and Genoveva Miranda.

The mass will be held at Saint Charles Borromeo Church in Peoria, 8615 W. Peoria Avenue at 10am and burial will follow at 12pm at Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale, 6450 W. Northern Avenue.
