One of the best memories I have growing up was sneaking into Grandpa's room at night when he was lying on his bed listening to the Dodgers game on his little transistor radio. Grandma would tell me not to bother him but I never listened. We would lie together in the dark and talk about baseball and whatever silly thoughts came into my ten-year-old brain. It was really special to me in fact it's something I do with my own children.

Grandpa was always doing kind things for me growing up. I remember when he build a bicycle for me. Then he and Grandma would ride bikes with me to the park. One time grandma fell off her bike when she hit the train track and skinned her knee. I just remember my grandpa being so annoyed with grandma because she was slowing us down with her busted up knee. I still laugh about that to this day.

I've been thinking last few weeks remembering all the good times and nice things Grandpa did for me and my family it's too many to list.  I thank you Grandpa you will live forever in my memories and in the memories of my children with all the stories about you I shared with them. 

I remember always going to the Mohamad home as a young girl,  he was godfather to my brother and socorro was my sister godmother they both were the nicest people. Going to the youth center seeing him would bring back memories of him and my dad. You will be greatly miss, my deepest condolences to the family 

I grew up next door to Moe & Socorro, I was just a child around 8 to my older years . I use to go over to their house daily. I loved seeing Sylvia getting ready to go out for the night wishing I was older, then she would put a little make up on me I loved it. They were both so nice to me treated me like one of there own always love you moe Rest In Peace. My condolences go out to the family.

Uncle Moe, you’ll be greatly missed. I’ll always remember you’re funny comments, your smile. My handsome Tio, always dressed nice. Every time I came over you were dressed nice and watching baseball. It won’t be the same now when I come to visit.. but I do know you have all the Glory of God Our Father.. Love you Tio ♥️♥️♥️

Growing up every summer we would visit the Mohameds. I loved our time there. I would follow Uncle Moe around the house in awe of him. Watching him shave with a single edge razor and no mirror. He had the closest smooth shave I ever saw. He always sang "hello Mary lou" :to me. I loved it. He is up in heaven standing tall, debonair, and cool in his sun glasses. Always had to have his sun glasses. I will miss him dearly. I loved him and thought he was the most handsome man, his smile lit up the room. Rest in peace Uncle Moe. My prayers are with you Rose Ann, Sylvia and family.

When I was young in elementary school. I looked at dad as a strong, big and a strict father. I remember getting ready for school, Mom knew I should stay home since I had chicken pox. He said, "she is fine send her to school." The nurse from Isaac E. Imes elementary had to call home to say "no she cannot come to school." (Dad was very strict about attendance at school) 😆 I also remember getting a ticket for going through a pink light. Lol...I was 18 yrs old. I was so afraid to tell dad. He lectured me for an hour and I cried the whole time! Later in my 20's I finally realized my father was just a big ole teddy bear. I love you dad! Rest in peace. Until we meet again! ❤ ❤


I lived 3 houses down from Moe and his family. It was my second home. I never knocked and would just walk in. Moe's greeting to me never changed, he would say "hey stretch, how's the weather up there" to which I'd always respond "you tell me, you're still taller than me". I loved that man and his wit. He will be greatly missed by all. My condolences to you all.

He is at peace and is surrounded by his loved ones. He will be playing cards with a lot of his buddies. Moe will be forever missed by so many. His smile illuminated a room especially when he saw his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rest in peace Mr.Moe .I am so glad I had the pleasure of spending time with you. Thoughts and prayers for Roseann,Sylvia, and all the family. Remember him with laughter because that's the way he will remember you.

I’ll always remember Uncle Moe making fun of me marching in the marching band I would always laugh and say no sir I don’t march like that and I use to admire how he would walk around the house shaving for an hour with no mirror I will miss you very much Uncle Moe i am very honored to have been your niece love you forever 

My Uncle Moe was a quiet man.  He didn't say much but would come up with little songs about things and had a great sense of humor.  I will always remember his beautiful smile and how he loved his newspaper.  He was meticulous about folding it neatly and keeping it in order.  Rest in peace, Uncle Moe.
