He was born John Sessums Means on November 30, 1955 in Dover, Delaware. Jack was the oldest of four children.
He truly was a "Jack of all trades" as he personally designed and constructed waterfalls so beautiful one was placed in a famous film, worked several positions at the airport, and drumming was his one true passion.
Jack married Carole in August of 2003, she survives him along with three children Jennifer (Mark) Simpson, Jeff (Brittany) Skaggs & Elizabeth Skaggs, three siblings Leslie, Jim & Bill and six grandchildren Gavin, Mia, Anaya, Bran, Justin & Owen.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Means, Sr. & Marion Sessums Fish.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, September 10, 2021 to celebrate Jack’s life at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale at 2PM.
